This post reminds me of that time where 2 fans at a nets game held a sign referencing Jason Kidds spousal abuse, and Jason killed commented how the fans behavior was despicable.
I find the factual and spiritual claims of all religions, Christianity and Islam among them, to be unpersuasive. But I'm not aware that I have ever mocked the broad sweep of any religion's people as barbaric, or backwards, or violent, or ugly. If I have, I'll gladly apologize for it.
At least admit that "Joanie Obeys Chachi" made you chuckle.
It did not. You are free to find me joyless in that.
One CAN certainly make a broad sweep statement that many modern Islamic STATES are certainly barbaric in many of their policies and actions. Certainly the Saudi State is a reprehensible institution.
But then, of course, the same is very much more so true of the military-corporate empire this band of merry reactionaries would describe as the "Land of the Free", too. Home of the Drone, perhaps? I shed no tears for Osama, but what about the bombers of Fallujah?

I agree with Freddie. A religious faith should only be criticized when the majority of its adherents are white people.
I don't remember Freddie ever criticizing any religion, Doc?
